Emotional wellness dropped by 74% for Americans after the Covid Pandemic. Many lost their jobs and businesses, had to man their jobs from home along with kids, have dealt with and are still dealing with depression, anxiety and a ton of stress.

Whenever there’s an imbalance, I like to think of it as an opportunity to readjust and reaffirm optimism about the future.

What is emotional wellbeing? Emotional Wellbeing is emotional quality in life experiences. It’s a complete state of being; physical, social and mental wellbeing.

In the past I thought wellness to be purely physical and spiritual. Turns out it’s much more!

The balance of emotional wellness includes the aforementioned states of being as well as intellectual, vocational and spiritual.

Here is a Ted talk that explains imbalance and how to get back to that balance. This TED Talk details the connection between mind and body and the manifestations that come to be.

Caring for the mind is as important as caring for the body. Did you know that over 10 million Americans are suicidal? This is also suicide prevention month. If you or someone you care for needs help, please reach out to a professional to have your needs met.

For me, one daily activity to establish emotional wellbeing is making my bed.

Making your bed encourages better decisions all day! Many successful people have referred to this task as the easiest success driven task.
